Where: Kansas City Art Institute, 4415 Warwick Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64111. The meeting will be in DeBruce Hall, rooms 102 and 103
Parking: DeBruce Hall is a newer building on the east side of 44th and Oak (4347 Oak). Parking is scarce in that lot due to many of them being reserved. Parking is pretty abundant on the street during that time of day and the South Lot off of 45th and Oak should be wide open.

Come join your security peers for this educative and engaging chapter meeting.
The program will include a presentation from the Director of Safety and Security, Mike Raunig. Mike will provide an overview of the physical, technical, and operational security measures that work together to protect the Institute's primary assets.
Lunch is included with the registration.
Bio:
Mike Raunig is currently the Director of Safety and Security for the Kansas City Art Institute. He began his professional career with the Johnson County Kansas Sheriff's Office in 1987. Mike retired from the Sheriff's Office in 2019 after serving as the Bureau Commander (Major) for the Operations Bureau (Investigations Division, Patrol Division, Civil and Tag Enforcement/Tax Collection Division, Court Security Division). His experience during his career with the Sheriff's Office consisted of communications, detention, patrol, narcotics, warrants, court security.
Mike began his second career as the Director of Safety and Security for the Kansas City Art Institute in November of 2019. He and his staff are responsible for the safety of the faculty, staff, and students of the Art Institute by means of physical patrolling campus, both on foot and by vehicle, controlling access points to all buildings on campus, and by electronic monitoring of the camera system on campus.
Mike is a graduate of Missouri Western State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. He is also a graduate of the following institutions:
